GREENcoLAB is playing a key role in the INOVACEL project

Led by NECTON with the support of S2AQUAcoLAB and CCMAR the INOVACEL project focuses on the development of a microalgae-based alternative serum for cellular agriculture, aiming to reduce reliance on animal-derived components.

To achieve this, GREENcoLAB is advancing sustainable biorefinery processes that transform microalgal biomass into high-value functional extracts, supporting a circular and resource-efficient approach for the future of cellular culture and biotechnology.

A step forward for the future of aquaculture and beyond.
