The INOVACEL project took part in the national launch of the Hub Azul Portugal Network, held at the Leixões Cruise Terminal in Matosinhos. The event brought together key stakeholders from the blue economy ecosystem to introduce a new national infrastructure dedicated to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and technology transfer.
As part of the Hub Azul Venture Building programme, Joana Rosa delivered a pitch highlighting the commercial potential of the technologies being developed within the INOVACEL project, showcasing their contribution to innovative solutions for cellular aquaculture and marine biotechnology.
Participation in this event provided an opportunity to showcase the project’s innovation potential to investors, companies, public organisations and other strategic stakeholders from the blue economy ecosystem, while reinforcing opportunities for the valorisation and transfer of the technologies developed by the consortium.
The Hub Azul Portugal Network is an important initiative for bringing together research, entrepreneurship and industry, creating the conditions to accelerate innovation and support the growth of new ocean-based solutions and businesses.
