We were present with a booth, where we had the chance to connect with fellow researchers and industry stakeholders from cellular agriculture and aquaculture, exchange ideas, and showcase the project’s vision and ongoing work.
A major milestone was the official launch of the Beta Program for CellBloom, an innovative microalgae-derived serum replacement developed in partnership with our associates PhytoBloom – Microalgae by Necton and Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR), and project partner GreenCoLab, under the INOVACEL project. The program was presented by Joao Navalho, President at Necton, and brings ethical, consistent, and scalable solutions to cellular agriculture and biotechnology, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and cross-sector collaboration.
INOVACEL was also represented through three scientific posters — one from GreenCoLab, one from Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR), and two from S2AQUAcoLAB, with one of the S2AQUAcoLAB posters receiving the Best Poster Award, recognizing the quality and impact of our research.
This conference was an excellent opportunity to showcase INOVACEL’s work in cellular aquaculture, receive valuable feedback from the community, and strengthen collaborations that will help drive innovation in the field.
