Bringing science closer to younger generations!

As part of the INOVACEL project, S2AQUA participated in a science outreach activity at the Centro Ciência Viva of Lago, which is part of the Escola Ciência Viva of Lagos.

In the “Meet the Scientist” format, researcher Joana Rosa led a session with a Year 4 class, sparking curiosity and interest in science from an early age.
The topic?
A “comida do futuro!”
The discussion focused on lab-grown meat and fish, exploring the principles of this innovative technology and its potential to create more sustainable food systems.
Initiatives like this one reinforce the importance of bringing science closer to society and inspiring new generations.
S2AQUA would like to thank Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos for the invitation and the excellent organisation!
